Extreme Rules 2010

Ok folks we are here for yet another ppv seems like i do one every week ha!

lets get into the undercard. first off...
Strap Match featuring shad vs jtg .Shad has been coming out and dominating poor JtG week after week. Last week we seen JtG fight back but this week we seen Shad take it to the next level whipping J with the belt. I pick Shad it doesnt make sense for jtg to go over this early. could be just me on that one.

Steel Cage Match: Edge Vs Chris Jericho (wrestlemania rematch)
Edge may have put Jericho through the barrier at mania but he still didnt walk away with the V. The past few weeks Jericho has attacked edges ankle while edge has delivered spear upon spear to jerichos ribs. Inside the steel this match is going to be about as brutal for either competitor I see Wade Barrett helping his Mentor get the one-up on the Rated R superstar Jericho walks out the winner in the cage tonight and this feud carry's on for hopefully a few more ppv's as these are two guys who dont need titles to make a good storyline flow.

Extreme Makeover Match Beth Phoenix vs (C)Michelle McCool. team laycool have the odds stacked against the glamazon however I feel with the recent departure of Mickey James from the company this would be an excellent time to swap the former GM to the face side of the smackdown roster with vicky turning on laycool and aligning with the glamazon giving glamazon the title.
(my reasoning for this is that most of the crap that laycool have been doing in the highschool fashion of namecalling and mocking peoples build and size applies to the former gm and i think that vicky beth and natalya would be a good stable to shut laycool up. with the draft on monday who knows though)

Street Fight (wrestlemania return match) Triple H vs Sheamus. this answer is simple Triple H went over on the grandest stage of them all and this is a B ppv so trips will job this match to Sheamus putting sheamus over and restoring what little bit of monsterous momentum the celtic warrior had before triple h buried him at mania.

Hair vs Cult match: Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk(wrestlemania return match) If Rey loses he becomes a member of the Straightedge society which is the same from wrestlemania however the kicker here is Rey gets to shave Punks head if Rey wins. I personally see Rey losing and unwillingly being a part of the stable, a lot of punk forcing Rey to do stuff until a final culmination at another ppv where Rey is able to disband the society.

Extreme Rules : Randy Orton vs (C) Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship, Orton has held this gold before and has proven he can help build stars without a belt on their waists so this match will see the best the viper can possibly pull out of swagger and then some. This match is in my opinion going to be hard to beat if they do it right. I expect Swagger to retain and someone will be chasing swagger after the draft, he better hope its not the viper.

Last Man Standing: Batista vs (C) John Cena for the WWE Championship. looking at this match i replay the ending to 2005's royal rumble in my head repetitively they were both being pushed from opposite shows and everyone was craving this blow out until they got it in the summer of 09 since then they have fought at mania and now the big blow off return bout from mania , once again like trips and shad combined. this is a Bshow as far as ppvs go John Cena can afford to lose this one. and On the Batista side of things they built up so much good momentum from his jealousy and uncontrollable fury that i see John Cena losing the strap to the animal. and the Animal going on to monday nights draft show to boast that super cena is no match for the animals fury.

Lock Down Picks

So my xbox took too long with money in the bank so my elimination chamber as lethal lockdown didntlook too promising so here are my picks. personally.

rvd vs James storm lethal advantage this match is bound to pit rob as an under dog. with hardy getting the fireball to the face and abyss' interaction with a car, team hogan looks to be in jeopardy. and this match will be further pushing the point as RVD loses to TnA's Original Cowboy.

the band vs 3d i do not see the band really doing that spectacular against 3d unless bubba and dvon got into some decent shape. all these guys are pushing the limits as far as age goes in the ring. i just cant see hall edging out dvon or bubba they are just too big. though a 3d on Hall isnt too out of the question. the shining star and savior of this match will be pac and i hope he and dvon carry this match because bubba and hall just havent achieved the build. i would like to see nash slide a caddle prod in and have hall shock the cage as one of the dudleys climbs the cage. (nice double throwback) Winners im looking for the band to beat 3d but in shady fashion.

Kurt vs Ken Anderson this battle is possibly the best built match on the card. without a doubt the one to watch. I see angle getting the v over anderson tonight just because anderson has been getting the edge on kurt for a few months now. so Angle to beat anderson.

Eric Young vs Kevin Nash this match is going to build the band more than ey. #SaveEY hope they utilize the cage as much as possible as nash is not going to move as quickly as Ey can.

TBP vs Tara Angelina all titles up for grabs. IM calling for the upset ms Madison Rayne picking up the win over tara and tbp having a huge tantrum because they cant take the title off angelina as she wasnt pinned. (here is to hope)

McMG vs Kendricide : I think the MCMG have been getting the shaft for tv time lately but i also think kendrick and homicide are exactly the remedy to get the higher ups attention. I see kendricide taking this match though the crowd needs somebody to hate what better hatred than for an ex wwe guy taking a former champ and cheating to beat the fan fave's MCMG.

Team Hogan vs Team Flair. its looking like 4 on 2 abyss hit by a car hardy with fire in his face, i am curious to see where team hogan goes from here will they replace them or will it be 4 on 2? My pick is miraculous win on team hogan its the hogan way.

x division title Prince of Punk Kaz vs Doug Williams. in another match where kaz shows off his skills as per usual i see kaz in some sort of shocking moment type deal nabbing the title. i personally think its funny that kaz and daniels were starting something and tna released daniels.(is kaz next?) #Kaz4XDivCHamp

Now for the creme de la creme The Pope vs The Phenominal One.
i think this match is awesome as the main match on the card. a lot of naysayers will tell you this matchup is midcard at best. but this is the chance tna needs to take to break away from the sour taste of hogan/bischoffs stint in wcw. I See aj comeing out on top but pope is going to take him to the limit.

The Quick List.
  1. James Storm def RVD
  2. The Band Def Team 3D
  3. Kurt Angle def Ken Anderson
  4. Nash def EY
  5. TBP def Taralina Retain the KO tag titles but do not win KO title.
  6. Kendricide def McMg
  7. Team hogan over team flair
  8. Kaz def Doug williams and Shannon Moore to become X-division champion.
  9. AJ def the Pope to retain
